Where are you?

So far 1742 people have downloaded Ulysses. (edit: as of 3/17 the number is now up to 2,043 free downloads)

Awesome. I wish that I could sit down with each of you in the same room and play you some songs face to face. Talk, sip some beer (or coffee) and laugh. I am regretting the fact that I have not played outside of California much, and would like to make 2009 that I do a tour of some sort. The question I have is, Where are you?. I have used a site called Eventful but couldn’t seem to get it off the ground. I have to admit, out of those 40 “demands” I think 9 of them are mine because I accidentally clicked it and didn’t know how to delete the demands.

So I wanna open it up here and ask: Where are you? Who are you? Would you come to a show if I came out near you? How did you find me? Do you take cream in your coffee?

Lemme know. K, thanks.

  1. Hi Goh, I just downloaded Ulysses — and am playing it now. On a first listen, I think it’s lovely and warm, beautifully played and sung, and to these ears ‘Californian’. Which is great, because I’m in London under inches of snow…. I hope Ulysses is the success it deserves to be. Best, Charlie Jackson

  3. Goh, I just finished downloading Ulysses and I think it is amazing! I’m jamming out to it with some friends here in Oklahoma City and we all think it is fantastic. You should make your way out here sometime. Great job and best wishes! Jon B.

  4. Hi Goh I’m in Long Island, New York. Not really sure how wide your fanbase is around here but if you came out to NYC me and my friends wouldn’t miss it for anything in the world.

  5. Hey Goh just finished downloading Ulysses and it’s awesome! I just started playing acoustic guitar myself so i’m making a pretty feeble attempt at playing some of the songs. But anyway I don’t know how many fans you have here in Perth, Scotland but if you came to play i’d have a coffe waiting for you (although it might be cold when you get here) =D

  9. Hey Goh! Highschooler named Oliver here! Ever since I saw your youtube about a year back I’ve been amazed by your songwriting abilities. I know your San Franciscan based, but if you could ever come to Boston that would be really cool. I know its a hike but it would be a fresh face for the East Coast!
    Good Luck Always

  10. Hey – I’ve been listening to Ulysses pretty regularly since you released it online. I’m in Berkeley, and keep meaning to see you play live but keep missing you. I’ll turn up at a show one of these days!

  12. Nice album. I have listened now for about a month. These songs grow on you and evolve after a while. The meanings all change, a mark of good music, they make you feel a certain way. I am now really liking Section of Sky, Suitcase, and If you want me to.
