and I’m hungry like beowulf

I’ve been laying kinda low lately- almost everyone I know is going through some profound changes, myself included. It’s like I’m seeing everyone’s carpet being slowly pulled from underneath their feet- wondering where they’re gonna land. Me, I’m not worried too much- my carpet’s magic dammit. I’m sure everyone will be fine- it’s just the end of another chapter…

Artist-ically, I feel like the biggest challenge of songwriting these days is to hold the pen and paper still enough to get the idea out in a legible manner, while riding this shaky train… Maybe I’m losing my mind! For example- I was trying to draw an elephant the other night while hanging out with the Invisible Cities, but it turned out looking like a loaf of bread. Maybe I am hungry.

Anyhow- to tide you over, the Fabulous Gary Chou bootlegged and uploaded saturday night’s Locus performance at Galeria de la Raza. (all with his new camera!) Click here to check it out.

The wav. file is my solo set- look for a new song, and new versions of old songs…

The avi files are of Golda and me performing covers of The Cure, Peter Gabriel, U2, and an original song!

I had a blast doing this! Special thanks to Locus and Golda!
