Nattalee Poortman (spelled different so NP stalkers won’t google her and come to this page!)
Wednesday January 28th 2004, 2:15 pm
So I wrote this song after reading some of “The Seducer’s Diary” from Either/Or by Soren Kierkegaard. (I was curious because of Elliott Smith’s album Either/Or).
I wanted to write a love song, but I had no “target” as my Japanese friend Gen would say back in the day.
The Nattalee Port-man song was the last of the “fantasy/stalker/love letters” kind of songs that I wrote. It’s really obsolete in my mind, and playing it last night reminded me of that. In fact I screwed up the last part because I was thinking to myself “man, this feels foolish. My girl smokes NP!” haha!
For reals though.

For some pics from the Locus remerge:
David Huang’s site
Jay Jao’s site
These guys are mecha subarashi and “sugoku fakingu tight-o” (Japanese for “hella tight”) because they are always capturing the moment at what seems to be all the KSW and Locus events.
and they do it damn well.
They need to be commemorated with bronze statues and sacrificial ceremonies. (where no-one gets hurt)
Peace.

Locus and Debut Album
Thursday January 15th 2004, 1:18 am
I just played the Locus “Remerge” kickoff event- it was a dream! I felt like I was really in my element and everyone was such a wonderful audience. I’d like to thank everyone who attended and for the kind words that were given to me afterwards. It really touches me and inspires me to hear that you enjoy something that I love doing so much! Thank you for the love! Also, I had the pleasure of meeting and seeing the wonderful band Scrabbel perform. I’ve been a fan from afar for awhile, so hearing them live was a real treat.
Some people approached me about a CD for sale, and unfortunately I don’t have anything at the moment, other than me burning a cd-r for you. I am currently aiming for a “debut album” release asap- within the next month possibly. Please e-mail me if you are interested in ordering one, and I will keep you posted on when that will be out.
Also, a shout out to the peeps at Locus- Sam, Jane, Annie, Gary “Manja.org” who is also monumental in helping me put this site up. You all rule!
Out for now,
Goh
Wake up call
Wednesday January 07th 2004, 11:14 pm
I stood on the leading edge,
The eastern seaboard at my feet.
“Jump!” said Yoko Ono
I’m too scared and good-looking, I cried.
Go on and give it a try,
Why prolong the agony, all men must die.
– Roger Waters, “The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking”
